Candidates must have a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in DevOps, with a required 15 years of full-time education. Essential skills include hands-on experience with Kubernetes, AWS, and Jenkins, a strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies, experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, familiarity with Docker, and knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Ruby. Kubernetes is a preferred skill.
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure, utilizing expertise in CI/CD, cloud technologies, and container orchestration. This includes building and testing end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, ensuring system security against threats, and collaborating with various teams to enhance operational efficiency. The role also involves acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), managing and collaborating with the team, making team decisions, engaging with multiple teams on key decisions, providing solutions to problems, mentoring junior team members, and continuously evaluating and improving existing processes.
