Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States, with potential requirements for U.S. citizenship and a federal background investigation or security clearance. A Bachelor's degree is required. Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, expertise with AWS services (ECS, Lambda, SQS, S3, API Gateway, CloudFormation), proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (DataDog, CloudWatch), familiarity with Node.js applications, experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation), and experience working in Agile software development teams are necessary.
The DevOps Engineer will work with other engineers to build out DevOps best practices in the federal space. This includes creating and documenting CI/CD jobs, creating infrastructure with Terraform, writing Ansible playbooks, and building tools. They will also collaborate with development teams to optimize build, test, and deployment workflows and ensure system health, performance, and reliability.
