Requirements

Candidates must have significant experience with infrastructure-as-code, specifically proficiency with Terraform and experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure) at scale. They should have hands-on experience optimizing PostgreSQL for high-throughput applications and scaling event streaming systems like Redis Streams, Kafka, or similar technologies. Experience managing Elasticsearch clusters for large-scale document storage and complex search queries is also required. Proficiency with CI/CD pipeline design and maintenance, as well as implementing monitoring, logging, and alerting systems, is necessary. Candidates must be located in the United States or Canada.

Responsibilities

The DevOps and Infra Engineer will design and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions using Terraform to manage cloud infrastructure and create scalable environments. They will scale and optimize data infrastructure, including PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and Redis, to handle growing data volumes and user loads. Responsibilities include building robust CI/CD pipelines for rapid and safe code deployment, implementing comprehensive monitoring and observability systems for deep system visibility, and ensuring security and compliance by implementing best practices, managing secrets, and maintaining data protection regulations.
