Requirements

Excellent knowledge of Java with more than 5 years of production experience
Expert knowledge of the Spring framework
Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture
Strong advocate for testing, with experience in automated testing frameworks
Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
Proficiency in English, demonstrating effective communication skills
Nice-to-Haves
An additional backend language (Python, Go)
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Experience with cloud environments like GCP, AWS, and cloud solutions like Kubernetes, Docker, etc
Experience with real-time messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.)
Experience with relational (SQL) and non-relational (NoSQL) databases
Degree in computer science or equivalent

Responsibilities

Collaborate with some of the industry's most competent minds, enhancing our omnichannel product by developing innovative features and workflows
Enrich and expand product capabilities by contributing to our AWS-hosted, microservices-based platform
Balance responsibilities between creating new features and maintaining existing partner integrations, prioritizing new feature development as we continually venture into new markets
Report to the development team lead and maintain strong interaction with product managers, product designers, and platform teams
Participate in daily Agile ceremonies, drive innovation that challenges the status quo, and update solution-oriented ideas
Advocate for superior code quality and accountability, actively contributing to infrastructure health
Foster growth within your team by disseminating knowledge and best practices, while perpetually seeking advancement and progression
