Supabase is seeking a Developer Relations Engineer to empower developers to discover, learn, and build with Supabase, the Postgres development platform. This role involves creating high-impact content, building real-world projects, and representing Supabase within developer communities and at events. Responsibilities

• Content Creation:
  • Publish compelling technical content, with a focus on video, to accelerate developer learning of Supabase.
  • Develop demos and tutorials.
  • Ship real-world applications using Supabase and complementary technologies like Next.js, React, and Stripe.
  • Write guides that are easily followable and remixable by others.
• Community Engagement:
  • Represent Supabase at meetups, livestreams, and other community events.
  • Act as a visible and trusted voice for the platform.
  • Support and grow the community by celebrating contributors, answering questions, highlighting projects, and relaying developer feedback to the team.
• Collaboration:
  • Work closely with engineering, product, and growth teams to amplify product launches, prioritize content efforts, and minimize friction for new users.

Qualifications

• Required:
  • Strong engineering skills, particularly with JavaScript or TypeScript, Postgres, and modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Svelte, Vue).
  • Proven experience creating technical content (written or video).
  • Comfortable representing a product publicly (on camera, on stage, or online).
  • This role requires presence in San Francisco for regular in-person devrel video shoots, local event attendance, and active participation in the SF tech ecosystem.
