Responsibilities

  • Provide detailed, well-documented design specifications for product features and act as the primary point of contact for resolving design-related questions during development
  • Work alongside product designers, product managers, and engineers to identify and define the necessary design details to deliver a consistent user experience
  • Critically review design concepts for component usage and translate finalized designs into detailed production-ready documentation. Ensure the highest standard for consistency of visual elements and UX patterns
  • Help evolve and refine the ADC Design System, UX guidelines, and processes that govern it
  • Facilitate collaboration and brainstorming sessions with the Product Design team
  • Document and train users of the design system to increase utilization and correct usage
  • Create, revise, and maintain design files, including component libraries and developer handoff files that are easy to navigate. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of executing changes within Figma to ensure smooth, efficient updates
  • Ensure every pixel has purpose, delivering visual work that aligns with the brand and speaks to users on an emotional level
  • Stay ahead of how the field of product design is evolving, bringing fresh ideas and effective approaches to every project
  • Lead design system critiques and engage directly with audiences to continuously receive feedback and refine your work
