Requirements

Exceptional front-end development skills, especially with CSS - ability to build fast, beautiful, and accessible experiences using modern techniques
Refined taste in design and a thorough understanding of web typography
4–8 years of design engineering experience on in-house teams, and an outstanding portfolio of high-craft work
Comfort with ambiguity and early-stage ideas; ability to turn nebulous prompts into actionable outcomes
A passion for toolmaking and expanding access to technology
Motion/animation experience (plus)
Experience working within large, multi-lingual websites (plus)

Responsibilities

Join a growing team of designers and engineers and help to shape the website
Bridge a code-friendly design team and a design-friendly engineering team
Create beautiful front-end experiences, and custom tools that enable said experiences to scale (stack: headless CMS, NextJS, Style Dictionary, design tokens, and custom tools)
Create design systems, prototypes and whatever else is needed to bring great ideas to life on Notion.com
Collaborate with teams across the company to bring initiatives and new products to market using novel design and storytelling solutions
