Responsibilities

Analyze and solve moderately complex problems, creating new solutions by leveraging and adapting existing methods and procedures
Understand the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
Interact primarily with direct supervisor or team leads, as well as peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture
Determine methods and procedures on new assignments with minimal guidance
Make decisions that often impact the team and occasionally impact other teams
Manage medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts at a client or within Accenture (if in an individual contributor role)
Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from their spend on goods and services
Work as part of the Procurement management team: identify needs, find and qualify suppliers, request proposals, negotiate with suppliers, contract, manage delivery, and analyze results
Develop and lead negotiations by focusing on mutual strategic interests and remaining unconditionally constructive to promote enduring business relationships
Manage the overall contracting process by collaborating with client and Accenture procurement, legal, and business teams to reach agreements
