Skill in Sourcing & Procurement - Sourcing
Ability to analyze and solve moderately complex problems
Experience creating new solutions, leveraging and adapting existing methods and procedures
Understanding of strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals
Ability to interact with peers, management levels at clients and within Accenture, and primary upward interaction with direct supervisor or team leads
Minimal guidance needed when determining methods and procedures on new assignments
Ability to manage medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role)
Availability to work in rotational shifts
Understanding of when & how to use RFP (price and non-price factors) and RFQ (price only), and how to develop, execute, and analyze results
Ability to collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative information to assess, screen, and select suppliers

Responsibilities

Work as part of Procurement management team using a systematic approach for buying goods and services: identification of need, finding and qualifying suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery, and analyzing results
Go beyond processing purchase orders at lower costs to help clients reap savings and value from billions spent on goods and services for day-to-day business operations
