Requirements

  • Master’s or PhD in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field
  • 5–8+ years of delivery or program management experience in data, analytics, or AI projects
  • Strong understanding of finance workflows (investment banking, PE/VC, trading, sales, compliance, risk)
  • Proven experience leading data annotation, dataset generation, or data pipeline projects for AI/ML applications
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong analytical and organizational capabilities; thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Experience managing vendors/outsourced teams with defined SLAs, KPIs, and quality metrics
  • Familiarity with annotation platforms, QA tools, and dataset version control systems
  • Competence in budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning
  • Advanced degree (Master’s/PhD) in Finance or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Prince2) (preferred)
  • Experience in financial services operations (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Delivery Ownership: Define and execute delivery plans for finance datasets — including project scheduling, resourcing, and risk management
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the complete dataset delivery lifecycle — from requirement gathering and specification design to annotation, QA, and client handoff
  • Finance Domain Collaboration: Work closely with finance SMEs to convert complex financial concepts (e.g., sell-side, buy-side, trading desks, investment banking, private equity, compliance) into dataset and annotation requirements
  • Quality Assurance: Set and uphold quality benchmarks for accuracy, consistency, and completeness; provide performance reports and delivery metrics
  • Operational Scaling: Build and manage internal and external teams; identify process bottlenecks and recommend tooling or automation for improved throughput and quality
  • Risk & Issue Management: Anticipate delivery challenges such as delays, data inconsistencies, or scope changes and develop mitigation strategies
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams; manage expectations, communication, and escalation
  • Process Optimization: Develop and refine SOPs, delivery dashboards, and KPIs; promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Financial Oversight: Monitor and control budgets, vendor costs, and resource utilization to ensure delivery within defined financial targets
  • Team Development: Mentor delivery leads and team members; foster best practices for high-performance dataset operations
