Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field
  • 13 to 18 years of experience (minimum 15 years of service delivery experience, with 10+ years in UK Pensions and account leadership role)
  • Led a 100+ member cross-functional team within UK Pensions function
  • Experience running an account independently or a sizeable part of an account for operations and customer engagement
  • Extensive hands-on operating and domain experience in UK Pensions operations, with deep expertise in end-to-end insurance policy life cycle (Policy Administration, New Business, Transfer In/Out, and Claims)
  • Good understanding of UK Pension front-to-back platforms (certifications in UK Pension an added advantage)
  • Thorough understanding of operational front-to-back procedures supporting UK Pension operations
  • Previous experience managing a team of professionals
  • Strong leadership skills to motivate and inspire team members
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to present complex information to diverse audiences
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve operational issues
  • Knowledge of operational best practices (quality control, performance management, process improvement)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, project management tools, and relevant applications
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with commitment to teamwork

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of UK Pension specialists in providing high-quality services to clients
  • Develop and implement strategies for acquiring and retaining clients
  • Establish and maintain relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction, retention, and business growth
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review performance metrics, share best practices, and develop action plans for continuous improvement
  • Provide coaching, training, and mentoring to team leads for skill and expertise development
  • Collaborate with internal departments and operations to ensure successful execution of business objectives
  • Develop and maintain deep understanding of the life and retirement landscape (industry trends, emerging technologies, regulatory requirements)
  • Conduct periodic reviews of client accounts to ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Prepare and present reports to senior management on team performance, client satisfaction, and business metrics
