Ability to slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products including meats and cheeses

Responsibilities
Provides high level of customer service: answers questions, recommends deli items, takes special orders and Member calls, helps select products, samples products
Slices, packages, weighs deli products (cheeses, meats); prepares and packages special orders and party trays
Receives and inspects deli shipments; displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli products
Ensures products are fresh and meet quality standards; checks for out-of-date products daily and follows salvage procedures
Stocks and rotates deli items to ensure wide variety in cooler shelves and display cases
Operates deli equipment (e.g., rotisserie ovens, slicers) per safety policies
Cleans and sanitizes deli equipment, food surfaces, refrigerated cases, and deli cooler throughout the department
Maintains presentation, cleanliness, and organization of deli display cases and department
Supports club policies, procedures, compliance; ensures safe, positive environment; escalates concerns as needed
Delivers GOLD club standards: Grand opening look, all items stocked, promotional plans executed, accurate signage, clean and organized
