Ability to slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products including meats and cheeses
Knowledge of food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures
Capacity to maintain presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including display cases
Understanding of how to access and read production and/or financial performance reporting for the department

Responsibilities
Provide high level of customer service to Members, answer questions, recommend deli items, answer calls, and take special orders
Slice, package, weigh deli products (cheeses, meats), help Members select products, sample products, prepare and package special orders and party trays
Receive and inspect deli shipments
Display, stock, rotate, and store deli products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies
Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards; check for out-of-date products daily and follow disposal procedures
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli department, inside and out, to deliver GOLD club standards (Grand Opening Look daily)
Support club policies, procedures, and compliance; act with honesty, integrity, and member focus; escalate concerns as appropriate
Ensure a safe and positive environment for members and team; resolve and deescalate member concerns
