Ability to slice, package, weigh, and sell deli products including meats and cheeses
Knowledge of food safety, food freshness, and product handling policies and procedures
Ability to operate and handle deli equipment safely
Capacity to lift and move deli products for stocking, rotation, and storage
At least 18 years old for 401(k) eligibility (implied for certain benefits)

Responsibilities

Provides a high level of customer service to Members, answers questions, recommends deli items, answers calls, and takes special orders
Slices, packages, weighs deli products including cheeses and meats; helps Members select products; samples products; prepares and packages special orders and party trays
Receives and inspects deli shipments; displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli products following policies
Ensures all products are fresh and meet quality standards; checks for out-of-date products daily and follows salvage procedures
Ensures deli cooler shelves and display cases have a wide variety of products; stocks and rotates items as necessary
Operates and handles deli equipment in accordance with safety policies
Cleans and sanitizes deli equipment and food surfaces throughout the department, including rotisserie ovens, cooking utensils, refrigerated cases, and the deli cooler
Maintains presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including display cases
Supports club policies, procedures, and compliance; acts with honesty, integrity, and member focus
Ensures a safe and positive environment; embraces inclusion and diversity; works collaboratively as a team
Delivers GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate); maintains fast, friendly service; resolves member concerns
Achieves GOLD club standards daily, including grand opening look, stocking, promotional execution, accurate signage, and cleanliness
