Responsibilities
Provides high level of customer service: answers questions, recommends deli items, takes special orders, helps select products, and samples products
Slices, packages, weighs, and prepares deli products including cheeses, meats, special orders, and party trays
Receives, inspects, displays, stocks, rotates, and stores deli shipments following policies
Ensures all products are fresh, meet quality standards, and checks for out-of-date products daily
Stocks and rotates deli items to maintain variety in cooler shelves and display cases
Operates deli equipment safely, including scales, rotisserie ovens, and cooking utensils
Cleans and sanitizes deli equipment, food surfaces, refrigerated cases, and the deli cooler throughout the department
Maintains presentation, cleanliness, and organization of the deli department, including display cases
Supports club policies, procedures, compliance, GOLD Member Standards (Greet, Anticipate, Appreciate), and daily club standards like stocking, signage, and grand opening look
Ensures safe and positive environment, resolves member concerns, and escalates as appropriate
