Responsibilities
Oversee, schedule, develop, and produce all homemade products, including Kitchen Express and Caesar Salad Station items
Work with and train others as needed to ensure productive shifts and contribute to store's financial interests
Assist with ordering and maintaining inventory control to ensure freshness, product quality, and turnover; extend or decrease recipes to meet desired quantities
Assist with receiving and unloading deliveries; check and verify receivables for amount, quality, count, weight, and condition; store in appropriate areas
Stock to ensure quality protection, accuracy, and product rotation
Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines
Train others to perform all department activities and functions
Manage the selection, scheduling, and supervision of others to meet or exceed departmental productivity levels as delegated by department manager
Have familiarity with all products carried in the department; know differences in price, taste, preparation, use, etc
Develop new Kitchen Express recipes as well as recipes for the Caesar Station; assist in the preparation of all food products while following established recipes
Wait on customers including slicing, cutting, weighing, packaging, and pricing merchandise
Maintain a clean, attractive, and well-stocked department
Complete all other duties as assigned in a timely manner
