Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a scientific field preferred
  • 2+ years of related customer service experience, including order entry systems and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated judgment, tact, and diplomacy when interacting with internal and external stakeholders; ability to handle confidential or proprietary information
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Experience working on complex assignments, requiring strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently with strong organizational skills, initiative, and a positive, proactive attitude
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
  • Strong working knowledge of systems and tools relevant to Customer Service and Sales Operations
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work beyond standard business hours as needed; some holiday coverage may be required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Manage all administrative functions for assigned BID sales teams, including order entry, complaint resolution, backorder and open order management (with proactive customer communication and alternative SKU recommendations), quote and order research and resolution
  • Act as liaison between sales/customers and internal teams such as Triage, Ecom, B2B, CAM, Product Management, Technical Support, Customs, Credit & Collections, Service, Price Maintenance, and other divisions
  • Handle new representative onboarding
  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming telephone and email inquiries and orders from Sales Representatives
  • Proactively organize and lead internal and external conference calls via WebEx to address and resolve customer or sales-related issues
  • Provide exceptional customer service to support front-line sales representatives in their daily activities
  • Ensure adherence to company and departmental goals and performance standards
  • Prepare and provide all necessary documentation required to meet shipping and compliance requirements (e.g., Material Safety Data Sheets, Certificates of Analysis, custom order documentation)
