Field Engineer (Government)

Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, and have at least 5 years of experience as a Database Engineer. Strong experience with relational and Object-Oriented databases, database design, development, and implementation is required, along with proficiency in database parser and loading software. U.S. citizenship and an appropriate security clearance (e.g., Active TS/SCI with agency-appropriate polygraph) are mandatory due to federal contract requirements.
The Database Engineer 3 will be responsible for providing technical expertise in database design, development, and implementation, supporting the analysis and evaluation of system improvements, and assisting with the development of database structures that integrate into overall system architecture. They will translate requirements and data into usable database schemas, create and update queries, scripts, and macros, and lead the development of databases, parser software, and loading software. Furthermore, the role involves supporting the entire lifecycle of projects from requirements through system acceptance testing and IOC, and assisting with recommendations for database-related activities.
