  • Deep expertise in end-to-end data solutions leveraging HPE storage portfolio and ecosystem of partners
  • Ability to craft stories making complex technologies simple and understandable for customers using references
  • Outside-in view, staying abreast of competitors, leveraging HPE opportunities, and mitigating challenges
  • Primarily work onsite from HPE partner/customer office

Responsibilities

  • Drive storage sales in assigned territory, industry, or account(s)
  • Actively prospect new storage opportunities and cultivate opportunities within existing accounts
  • Manage, coordinate, and drive sales activities; build sales pipeline and drive opportunities to closure using internal sales tools
  • Execute pursuit plans as appropriate
  • Formulate and expand solutions to generate additional product/service attachments and upsell to increase revenue
  • Build sales readiness and reduce client learning curve through effective knowledge transfer in storage
  • Coordinate supporting sales activities related to pipeline hygiene through account managers
  • Actively generate customer interest linking business and financial benefits with technology
  • Bring services-led approach to build stickiness through consultative engagements and financial constructs
  • Focus on channel relationships, provide enablement of key technologies, and co-sell to end-users
  • Responsible for the close plan for storage-related opportunities
