Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in an analytical field such as Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management, Statistics, or Engineering. A Master's degree is preferred. A minimum of 1 year of experience is required in working with large databases for complex analysis, advanced programming in Python or R and SQL, conducting statistical analysis, and building machine learning algorithms. Proficiency with Excel and PowerBI is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Data Scientist I will drive internal data analytics projects, collaborating with executive leaders to deliver analytical solutions to business problems. This role involves building statistical and machine-learning models, participating in the end-to-end data science project lifecycle from data mining to solution deployment, and performing time-series, hypothesis, and causal analyses. Responsibilities include transforming data into actionable insights, designing and interpreting experiments, researching data inquiries, documenting project requirements, and evaluating solutions using R, Python, SQL, and other programming tools.
