Candidates must possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field, along with 5 years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the IT consulting industry. Required experience includes 5 years in designing, developing, and supporting RESTful APIs and database components, leading cloud-native development using technologies like Informatica, Snowflake, and AWS with DevOps and Agile practices, coding and deploying applications with DevOps, AWS, Vault, and Terraform, developing and maintaining applications, ETL, and ML pipelines using Python, PySpark, AWS, JavaScript, Shell, and Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC), managing SQL databases such as PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, or Snowflake, designing, developing, and integrating business applications like SAP, Duck Creek, and Sapiens Reinsurance Master with Data Lake, creating prototype solutions, preparing data for machine learning applications, driving delivery orchestration and design decisions, and managing onshore and offshore delivery teams. Willingness to travel domestically approximately 80% of the time is also required.

Responsibilities

The Data Engineering, Management & Governance Manager will analyze, design, build, test, implement, and maintain system components and applications. Responsibilities include developing project plans, maintaining applications according to SLAs, managing project execution within budget, schedule, and scope, and working across the Service Delivery Lifecycle on engineering solutions. The role involves designing, architecting, and coding applications to standards, establishing MLops/Dataops for complex systems, identifying and evaluating complex problems to create solutions, and supervising a team to translate requirements into design specifications. Additionally, the manager will conduct project and issue management, including status, issue, and ETC/budget reporting, make decisions impacting the team, adhere to strategic direction, prototype solutions, and interact effectively with senior management. This includes recommending improvements on ongoing issues and supporting critical applications.
