Requirements

Candidates should possess 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of Big Data engineering concepts, data architecture design, and performance optimization. Experience with data modeling, warehousing, building ETL pipelines, SQL, and Python is essential. Experience in scaling data pipelines from scratch is required. Familiarity with Airflow, DBT, and Snowflake is a strong advantage, and technical leadership or management experience is a plus. Applicants must be eligible to work in the US.

Responsibilities

The Data Engineer will serve as a critical contributor to the Suno products team, providing insights and solutions that influence high-level decisions and shape the product roadmap. They will design, develop, and maintain complex data products, systems, platforms, and pipelines to build scalable, secure, and high-quality big data solutions. Responsibilities include integrating diverse data sources, processing high-volume real-time and batch data, and ensuring data integrity, quality, and compliance. Collaboration with scientists, ML engineers, software developers, business leaders, and product teams to define data requirements, architect solutions, and implement data-driven opportunities is key. The role involves leveraging advanced analytics and data engineering practices to uncover actionable customer insights and implementing and monitoring data systems to ensure high availability, reliability, and scalability.
