Infrastructure Engineer II (DAT) - Remote at BigCommerce

The salary range is $85,000 - $125,000 - $142,000, with the exact salary depending on the candidate's location, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.

Requirements include 5+ years as a Software Engineer, knowledge of configuration management like Puppet, experience with Linux systems administration and scripting in Ruby and Bash, and experience developing in Ruby or Golang. Additional needs are working with modern infrastructure tools, comfort with unfamiliar technologies, and strong critical thinking in a collaborative Agile environment.

This is a small, distributed global team called the Delivery Acceleration Team (DAT) that supports the entire Engineering organization in a collaborative, open, and Agile environment.

Strong candidates have 5+ years of software engineering experience, skills in Ruby, Bash, Puppet, and modern infrastructure tools like GCP and Terraform, plus the ability to handle multiple projects, mentor others, and thrive in a proactive, Agile team.
