Requirements

  • Bachelor or master degree in ICT
  • Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience handling large data volumes
  • Knowledge of BI and ETL for delivering quality data
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server & BI Suite (Reporting Services, Analysis Services, SQL Server Integration Services, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Proficiency in SQL
  • Strong insight into data warehouse principles
  • Experience in data modeling such as star schemas with Kimball method
  • Knowledge of SSAS (Analysis Services) and Microsoft SQL Azure is a plus
  • Preferably experience with Scrum
  • Follows technological developments in the field, specifically Microsoft BI
  • Proactive and results-oriented attitude with strong focus on quality and security
  • Strong stakeholder management, clear communication, and ability to build professional relationships

Responsibilities

  • Design the data warehouse across different architectural layers, including data modeling and data architecture
  • Continuously search for the most suitable technical solutions
  • Develop BI solutions based on SQL Server and Azure Data Warehouse, integrating diverse source systems
  • Maintain and optimize ETL processes in SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services)
  • Develop PowerBI reports and dashboards with strong analytical insight, focusing on value for the customer/end-user
  • Monitor technological developments, follow trainings and webinars, and translate insights into choices for functionality, performance, security, etc
  • Perform thorough testing to ensure quality, correct application of business logic, and accurate report development
  • Prepare technical documentation according to internal standards
  • Develop solutions (analysis, development, testing) that meet Liantis' data and reporting needs in an agile team
