Requirements

Candidates should possess 4+ years of experience supporting Production Data Centers, along with industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA A+, or Linux, and comfort with using a command-line interface, copper and optical cabling, power cabling and PDUs, and Linux and other CLI operating systems. Familiarity with server, storage, and internet technologies is also required, as is the ability to lift up to 75 pounds and express good judgment to take action and move forward.

Responsibilities

The Data Center Engineer will participate in Server and Network deployments and upgrades within a Production Data Center, assist in Production infrastructure builds outs, conduct Server configuration and Layer 2 Network configuration, troubleshoot equipment using command-line tools, install hardware and integrate into Production infrastructure, run fiber optic and copper cabling, remediate hardware issues using manufacturing documentation and engineering specifications, and participate in Server and Network deployments within a Production Data Center.
