Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent work experience, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in data analytics roles with audit or risk exposure. Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python, BI platforms, and spreadsheet programs are essential. Preferred qualifications include 1+ years of experience with dbt, Mood, Looker Studio, and testing internal controls/business processes in media, finance, or compliance environments, as well as familiarity with accounting, finance, and risk management concepts.

Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will query, mine, and analyze large datasets using advanced analytics and BI tools to support audit and management reporting. They will design and implement data testing procedures to ensure data completeness, accuracy, and integrity. Responsibilities also include conducting risk assessments and walkthroughs of business processes, advising teams on process improvements and data quality controls, investigating data anomalies and providing insights, and communicating audit findings through clear verbal and written reports.
