Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree (B.S/B.A) and 5 to 8 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required skills include proficiency in SQL for creating and modifying macros and dashboards, advanced Excel skills (formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookups, statistical formulas, macros, conditional formatting, data import, charting), and excellent written communication with a high level of attention to detail. A minimum of 5 years of experience managing large data sets and creating visual data is essential, along with the ability to independently analyze large datasets, identify trends, gaps, and patterns. Experience with Google PLX Dashboards is preferred.
The Data Analyst III will be responsible for statistical modeling and analysis of structured and unstructured datasets to develop metrics, reports, and visualizations of trends and patterns. This role involves identifying and capturing data from various sources, ensuring consistency in ongoing projects, creating advanced data visualizations, and developing complex reports using scripts and reporting tools. Responsibilities also include designing and generating consensus and statistical demand forecast reports, continuously improving forecasting techniques, performing Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) to identify automation opportunities, and independently analyzing data sets for accuracy and efficiency improvements. The analyst will troubleshoot database technical issues, create monthly Excel and Google Sheets files from databases, perform quality assurance on data, handle data-related technical issues, support data infrastructure needs, and assemble large, complex datasets that meet business requirements. Collaboration with data and analytics experts to enhance data systems and other duties as required are also part of the role.
