Candidates should possess a BBA & MBA in Finance, BS and MS in Finance, or M.com. Basic qualifications include strong research abilities with expertise in advanced Google search techniques, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. An analytical mindset with keen attention to detail, a positive and proactive approach, and the ability to collaborate within a team are essential. Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and a basic understanding of MS Office tools are required, along with a willingness to work in a rotational shift schedule. A solid grasp of finance and market terminology, including deep knowledge of private credit, common stock, preferred equity, and debt securities, is necessary, as is strong problem-solving initiative and adaptability. The ability to establish and adhere to robust governance and tracking mechanisms is also required.

Responsibilities

The Data Analyst will gather data on equity & debt rounds of funding across alternate asset classes from multiple sources, enter it into the system, and demonstrate expertise in annual & quarterly filings. They will stay informed about content sets, continuously expand industry knowledge, and promptly respond to queries from client departments. Responsibilities include updating, maintaining, and running reports to generate audits, contributing ideas for new data collection methods and product improvements, and following data collection protocols. The role involves collaborating with team members to improve processes, ensuring accurate tracking and collection of high-quality data, identifying and resolving issues, providing constructive feedback, and upholding data integrity. Additionally, the analyst will contribute ideas for process optimization, automation, and lean practices, and maintain data accuracy through regular updates and verification, including conducting data cleansing activities.
