The ideal candidate possesses professional SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation, and expertise in BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView. Experience with frontend event tracking and validation using tools such as Amplitude or Mixpanel is required, along with a strong understanding of web and mobile app analytics, event-driven data models, and tracking methodologies. Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and creative abilities are essential. Knowledge of Python or R for data analysis, data modeling techniques, data warehousing, data marts, ETL processes, and familiarity with APIs for retrieving event data are considered a plus.
The Data Analyst will be responsible for gathering data from various sources, cleaning and preprocessing it for accuracy and completeness, and analyzing complex datasets to identify trends and insights. They will analyze business performance, create visualizations and dashboards to present findings, and communicate recommendations to stakeholders. Responsibilities also include analyzing frontend event data for accuracy and consistency, validating and monitoring frontend event tracking implementation, and collaborating with developers and product managers to define tracking requirements. Developing automated validation reports to monitor data integrity and quality is also a key duty.
