Candidates must have proven experience as a Power BI Developer, BI Engineer, or Data Integration Developer, with advanced skills in Power BI including semantic modeling, DAX, and paginated reporting. Strong SQL development skills across Snowflake, SQL Server (T-SQL), and Oracle are required, along with hands-on expertise in ETL pipeline development using SSIS. Experience designing and maintaining data warehouses, optimizing queries, and understanding data architecture best practices are essential. Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and documentation skills are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with healthcare or insurance datasets, knowledge of HIPAA, PHI, and SOC2 compliance, and experience with DevOps, version control, and CI/CD pipelines for BI solutions.
The Power BI / Data Integration Developer will design, develop, and optimize enterprise-grade business intelligence and data integration solutions, including building scalable Power BI reports and semantic models. Responsibilities include developing ETL pipelines across various platforms, automating data extractions, and ensuring refresh accuracy. The role involves contributing to schema design, performance tuning, and optimization of databases and warehouses. Additionally, the developer will collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into BI solutions, provide documentation and training, and partner with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure governance and regulatory reporting. Staying up-to-date with BI best practices and performance monitoring is also a key responsibility.
