Position Overview

The Packaging vertical within NielsenIQ is seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and customer-centric professional with a passion for data to join our growing team as a Global Client Success Manager. Reporting to the Global Packaging Leader, this role requires a client-focused individual with excellent communication skills, a strong data-driven solution background, and in-depth knowledge of the CPG industry. The primary responsibility is to support the team in administrative tasks, build and maintain strong client relationships, and provide outstanding customer service.

This role will be instrumental in shaping the industry narrative for clients across the packaging sector. You will own the day-to-day provision of services to our global packaging client base, supporting data delivery, key industry insights (sustainability, eCommerce, packaging trends), and regular reporting outputs.


Responsibilities

  • Support the Packaging Team with specific client deliveries and vertical development through collaboration, meaningful insights, value-add presentations, and other administrative duties.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for NielsenIQ’s solutions relevant to the Packaging vertical.
  • Showcase NIQ’s value proposition by developing use cases and industry thought leadership that highlight the value of NIQ’s product portfolio.
  • Weave client-specific insights, industry material, and thought leadership into client conversations to build context and clarity on the outcomes our solutions can deliver.
  • Build meaningful relationships with internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborate with product sales leads, cross-functional partners, and product leadership on new and creative applications for the data.
  • Perform regular reporting tasks and communicate with clients to ensure timely, quality delivery.
  • Manage client relationships, ensuring clear and concise communications.
  • Support project-based output of the team, including desk research and sample reporting.
  • Support sales generation among customer-facing service teams, consistent with NielsenIQ’s Packaging vertical growth strategy.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of work experience, preferably in a relevant industry (FMCG, consulting, account management).
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Excellent awareness of market conditions and the client business environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage data and discover actionable insights.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to produce quality work with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines quickly and efficiently.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote/hybrid office situation.
  • An effective team player who enjoys working as part of a creative and energetic team.
  • Possesses initiative and the ability to “make things happen” and be accountable.
  • Familiarity with NielsenIQ tools, applications, and platforms is a plus.
