Candidates must have at least 3 years of software, hardware, or cloud experience in a customer-facing role and a B.S. in engineering, computer science, math, physics, or equivalent. Preferred qualifications include 5 years of enterprise cloud, hardware, or software technical experience, general knowledge in at least one high-performance computing (HPC) discipline, experience with enterprise customers in specific industry verticals, and experience with at least one HPC simulation software. A Master's degree in engineering or computer science is preferred, along with the ability to manage multiple complex projects and coordinate across diverse teams. Candidates should demonstrate an understanding of HPC, schedulers, IaaS, and scripting languages. Approximately 50-75% travel to strategic customer sites is required.
The Customer Success Engineer will act as a trusted technical advisor and own the technical relationship with named Rescale customers, leading technical activities from deployment to user training and support. They will collaborate with Solutions Architects to deploy Rescale solutions, analyze technical needs and infrastructure, onboard new customer workflows, and grow Rescale's footprint. The role involves gaining deep knowledge of customer workflows and HPC environments, defining and executing customers' digital transformation strategies to migrate workloads to the cloud, and articulating Rescale solutions at conferences and webinars. Additionally, they will collaborate with Product Management to provide feedback for platform improvements and present highly technical topics in an understandable manner.
