This role is for a Customer Marketing Specialist who will lead strategic initiatives that engage and retain our valued customers. You’ll collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success teams to design and execute impactful campaigns, events, and communications.

Responsibilities

  • Customer Segmentation: Analyze customer data and behavior to segment the customer base effectively.
  • Understand customer personas and preferences to tailor marketing efforts accordingly.
  • Develop and implement personalized marketing campaigns to engage and retain existing customers (e.g., email marketing, social media campaigns, loyalty programs, customer referral initiatives).
  • Encourage satisfied customers to become brand advocates (e.g., customer referral programs, testimonials, case studies, reviews).
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling to existing customers.
  • Design targeted campaigns to promote additional products/services.
  • Ensure consistent and relevant communication with customers at various touchpoints (e.g., post-purchase follow-ups, onboarding materials, regular updates).
  • Plan and manage loyalty programs to reward loyal customers and encourage repeat purchases.
  • Gather customer feedback and insights through surveys, interviews, and feedback channels.
  • Utilize the data to make data-driven decisions and enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of customer marketing initiatives using relevant KPIs.
  • Prepare reports on campaign performance and use the insights to optimize future strategies.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align customer marketing strategies with broader marketing initiatives.
  • Work closely with the customer support team to address customer concerns and resolve issues.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years in marketing, customer service, or related roles is preferred.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of marketing principles, customer segmentation, and customer lifecycle.
  • Skills:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw insights.
    • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
    • Enthusiasm for delivering exceptional customer experiences and contributing to customer satisfaction.
  • Familiarity with marketing tools and platforms is a plus.
