Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent is required, along with the ability to problem-solve, research solutions, and manage multiple priorities effectively. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Preferred qualifications include a proven track record in collections, commercial collection experience, familiarity with SAP and/or ERP systems, basic Excel skills, and bilingual (Spanish) abilities.

Responsibilities

Manage daily collection efforts for customer accounts, prioritizing the portfolio to maximize collection benefits. Lead the customer resolution process, liaising with internal stakeholders and communicating effectively to support collection goals while ensuring excellent customer service. Recognize significant credit risks, identify potential credit problems, and escalate matters as needed. Address and investigate customer account errors, including billing and pricing issues, and utilize customer service skills to maintain positive relationships during collection efforts. Collaborate with field contacts and regional collections managers when necessary, meticulously documenting all communications and follow-up actions. Initiate appropriate follow-up on returned mail and address discrepancies on customer accounts.
