Candidates must possess strong attention to detail, a methodical and analytical approach to problem-solving, and excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook, is required, along with QuickBooks experience. The ability to remain patient, empathetic, and professional in all customer interactions is essential. Additionally, applicants must have a fixed fibre internet line with a minimum speed of 25 Mbps (upload & download) supporting a wired Ethernet connection, and a reliable power backup solution for load shedding and power outages.
The Customer Billing Representative will manage customer accounts by reviewing outstanding balances and determining the appropriate course of action for resolution. They will communicate clearly and professionally with customers via phone and email to address billing inquiries, provide account updates, and resolve discrepancies. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate and detailed records of all interactions, payment arrangements, and account status updates in internal systems, collaborating with internal teams to ensure account information accuracy, and following up consistently on past-due accounts to facilitate timely collections while maintaining positive customer relationships. The role also involves assisting in preparing financial documentation and reports related to billing and collections activity.
