Requirements

  • 7-10 years of relevant technical or manufacturing experience in a multinational food or pharmaceutical environment, 3 of those years must have been in a managerial role
  • Strong record of influencing cross-functional teams and suppliers to deliver measurable results, leading in a virtual environment
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset
  • Technical expert in industrial food-grade B2B packaging. Returnable packaging knowledge is desirable
  • Advanced communication skills with ability to engage at all organizational levels
  • PACS and regulatory background is beneficial
  • Advanced proficiency in data platforms and analytics tools, including SAP, Picasso, SFM, KOSMOS, PowerApps and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Understanding of LCA meth

Responsibilities

  • Leads end to end packaging program execution from concept to implementation, managing timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure alignment with the global packaging strategy. Responsibilities span regulatory compliance, standardized and optimized specifications, value creation projects via PMO, packaging performance improvement, risk management and business continuity implementation, governance and metrics for process, quality, and sustainability, and capability building through targeted team training
  • Leads governance of packaging data platforms (KOSMOS, SAP Master Data, and Picasso), ensuring integrity, accuracy, and compliance with KORE, regulatory requirements, and ESG reporting standards. Enhances dashboards and analytics to identify hotspots and opportunities, facilitates best practice replication through structured communication, enforces governance to established standards, and develops and delivers defined sustainability targets and metrics
  • Influence and collaborate across global functions, Operating Units, Procurement, Engineering, Quality, Plant Operations to deliver operational goals, ensuring cross-functional that leverages technical subject matter experts, customers, and suppliers. Builds technical capability and fosters best-practice sharing via monthly Packaging Network Calls, aligning priorities with CPS Packaging and Quality, driving value creation, optimizing packaging ranges and specifications, and developing and maintaining training materials for the global packaging network
  • Manages packaging supply risk by executing mitigation programs and coordinating alternate sourcing solutions. Proactively engages stakeholders to identify risks, implement reduction methodologies, and deliver business continuity projects with Procurement and BCP teams, eliminating single-source situations through standardization and backup packaging authorizations
  • Translate complex sustainability data into actionable intelligence for leadership and stakeholders; identify high-impact interventions to accelerate quality, sustainability and regulatory objectives
