The base rate is $27.41 per hour, with an additional $1.50 per hour added for bilingual Spanish proficiency. There is also a $750 sign-on bonus.
This is not a remote position; it requires providing intensive home-based services in families' homes, schools, and other community settings in Cumberland, Gloucester, and Salem Counties.
A Bachelor's degree in social services with at least one year of experience in counseling or case management is required. Preferred qualifications include a Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or social work, experience with children and families in child welfare or trauma, and skills in communication, organization, documentation, and collaboration.
Counselors carry a small caseload of 4-6 families, hold family sessions 3 times a week at the families' convenience, and participate in weekly supervisions with a flexible, non-traditional schedule. On-call availability is also required to support families.
Strong candidates have a Bachelor's degree with counseling experience, preferably a Master's degree, background working with at-risk youth and families in child welfare, bilingual Spanish skills, and the ability to provide home-based therapy with excellent collaboration and documentation abilities.
