Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in social services with at least one year of experience in counseling or case management
  • Experience working with children and families, particularly families involved with the child welfare system and/or affected by trauma (preferred)
  • Ability to facilitate positive interactions and work collaboratively with families
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills
  • Must have and maintain a valid driver's license, use of an insured vehicle, and an acceptable driving record
  • Master's degree in counseling, psychology, or social work (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Carry small caseload of 4-6 families
  • Hold family sessions with each family 3 times a week, scheduled at the convenience of the families
  • Provide treatment in families' homes, schools, and other community settings as needed
  • Participate in weekly supervisions and clinical consultation meetings
  • Provide on-call availability to support families
  • Address behavioral health needs to support family functioning and stability
  • Implement and adjust evidence-based intervention strategies to align with family goals
  • Collaborate with peers, DCP&P, and other community providers to ensure continuity of care and support for the family
  • Complete necessary documentation required for Youth Villages Intercept program and Acenda, including bi-weekly treatment plans, weekly session notes, and ongoing clinical assessments
  • Participate in weekly supervision/professional development, weekly group supervision, and clinical case consultation calls
