Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Business or related field and a minimum of 8 years of experience in corporate real estate, facilities management, data center critical infrastructure, construction, and advanced built environment technologies; or any combination of education and experience providing an equivalent background
  • Must be within a reasonable commuting distance from the posted locations in Ohio (full-time on-site work required, no hybrid/virtual unless legally accommodated)

Responsibilities

  • Oversee operations and maintenance of multiple locations throughout Ohio, ensuring facilities are safe, compliant with health and safety standards, and efficient
  • Develop maintenance schedules, manage budgets, negotiate vendor contracts, implement sustainability initiatives, and lead on-site teams
  • Manage day-to-day implementation of policies, procedures, and programs for well-managed and well-maintained buildings
  • Respond positively to concerns and needs of associates, tenants, environmental health and safety, and quality programs, aligning with organizational goals
  • Coordinate activities related to finances, vendors, and manpower
  • Ensure day-to-day operations (janitorial, life-safety, engineering, general maintenance) comply with company policies and directives
  • Regularly review contracts, obtain competitive bidding, and verify invoices match contract pricing
  • Manage maintenance activities for interior and exterior conditions and appearance of properties
  • Ensure accurate and timely completion of site documentation and reports (e.g., Property Information Book, Site Operating Manual, Emergency Procedures Manual, IIPP Manual, compliance logs, OSHA Log, elevator logs, purchase orders, vendor insurance, as-built drawings, invoices, contracts, annual reports)
  • Prepare, review, and provide initial approval of budgets, financial reports (monthly/quarterly), contracts, expenditures, and purchase orders
  • Coordinate preparation and publication of annual budgets, quarterly reforecasts, and business plans
  • Contribute to capital budgets and formulate five-year plans for maintenance, enhancements, and cost reductions
  • Collect and examine statistical data to report on facility management goals
  • Ensure tenants and vendors comply with insurance requirements and coordinate claims
