Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of Corporate Customers across Yorkshire and the North East, including those with complex needs or challenges requiring support/corrective measures to protect the loan book
  • Work with the Exec team to deliver appropriate risk strategies and credit limits for the portfolio
  • Achieve commercially balanced sustainable solutions by assessing credit positions and identifying options meeting both Customer and business needs, including new lending opportunities and ongoing reviews of Customers’ wider business to identify credit appetite
  • Develop relationships at all levels with portfolio Corporate Customers and senior stakeholders to enable successful business relationships, managing, protecting and growing the loan book
  • Actively own and manage allocated corporate accounts by implementing credit strategies to minimise credit risk, providing solutions and creating potential lending opportunities where appropriate
  • Manage, track & analyse departmental data to support the decision making process
  • Work with the wider business to identify & manage horizon risks
  • Maintain strong & relevant industry knowledge across all asset types, sectors and regions
  • Support the management of the department by identifying process opportunities to improve outcomes for Customers and the business
