Requirements

  • Minimum 5-7 years of meeting management experience with internal and external customers
  • Cvent expertise (RFP, website development, overall management, communications, reporting)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong understanding of meeting technologies
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal

Responsibilities

  • Manage a variety of in-person, virtual and hybrid events with varying complexities for internal/external customers
  • Partner with Enterprise leaders to create compelling agendas, customer, and employee engagement; influencing overall design of events ensuring consistent enterprise centric best practices
  • Strategically work with internal business partners across the Enterprise to understand, facilitate and support their goals and objectives while integrating events into business plans
  • Develop and maintain internal business partner relationships by delivering high level customer service and successful event outcomes
  • Partner with internal business partners and teams to establish event strategies and project plans, ensuring clear communications of objectives, timelines, budget, project status, and expectations with regular updates
  • Identify operational challenges and develop solution-based strategies/processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as legal, IT, HR, and marketing to facilitate components of meetings and various needs
  • Partner with procurement on legal contracts, SOW’s, LOA’s
  • Work with internal Operations Manager for meeting approvals, tracking, and assigning meetings to third parties
  • Provide oversight and management of event financials, reconciliation, and cost savings documentation
  • Measure key ROI and ROE indicators
  • Work in collaboration with the corporate meetings & events team on agreed upon events from start to finish, including venue sourcing, pre-event planning, project management, registration management, budget management, onsite event support, final reconciliation, billing accuracy, meeting close out, and other duties
  • Project manage multiple, complex timetables successfully in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
  • Partner with external relationships (agencies, vendors) and work with cross-functional internal teams (creative services, marketing operations) to develop and execute programs
  • Provide onsite support to implement meetings and events
  • Ensure compliance with policy and procedures, completing all required approvals and processes
  • Deliver operational requirements and tasks in the agreed timeline per internal stakeholder requests
  • Remain current on industry trends in event management and integrate them into event design when applicable
