Requirements

Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field, coupled with 2-4 years of relevant experience in management consulting, private equity, investment banking, or internal corporate development/M&A support. Strong organizational and project management skills are essential, with familiarity in tools like Smartsheet or Asana being a plus. A solid understanding of M&A processes and transaction phases, comfort in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments with multiple stakeholders, and excellent written/verbal communication with high attention to detail are required. A proactive, resourceful mindset with a desire to learn in corporate development is also necessary. Prior exposure to M&A deal flow in tech, cybersecurity, or SaaS, and experience supporting large-scale, cross-functional projects are preferred.

Responsibilities

The Corporate Development Associate will assist in managing the end-to-end M&A lifecycle, from pipeline coordination through diligence and post-close integration, supporting inorganic growth. Responsibilities include coordinating internal stakeholders during diligence and integration planning, maintaining and tracking deal pipeline activities and documentation, and supporting project planning for acquisition execution and integration workstreams across various departments. The role involves developing and maintaining project documentation such as timelines and status reports, scheduling and facilitating key meetings and diligence sessions, and ensuring cross-functional team alignment. Additionally, the associate will contribute to improving M&A playbooks and processes, help maintain shared tools like data rooms and diligence trackers, and assist with post-close tracking and reporting on integration milestones.
