Requirements

  • Progressive experience in Corporate Communications, Public Relations, or related fields, with significant focus on using customer advocacy to strengthen brand awareness and industry leadership
  • Collaborative team player able to partner with peers across the GTM team to secure buy-in and execute effectively
  • Portfolio of successful, high-profile communications campaigns securing tier-one media coverage and speaking engagements centered on customer storytelling
  • Familiarity with the digital commerce ecosystem and/or retail industry, including emerging trends, technologies, and issues
  • Proficiency in leveraging AI to drive efficiency in day-to-day work while maintaining quality
  • Mastery of translating complex business concepts (e.g., fraud prevention, risk management, payments) into clear, compelling narratives
  • Comfort working with executive-level decision makers, building rapport, and preparing them for speaking engagements and media interviews
  • Process-oriented with ability to build long-term plans aligning company announcements/campaigns with speakers, events, awards, and seasonal news cycles
  • Existing relationships with tier-one business and technology press and agency experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communication plans supporting customer advocacy efforts
  • Partner with Customer Advocacy Team to identify, recruit, and cultivate relationships with high-profile customers for storytelling opportunities (e.g., joint press releases, keynote speaking, media interviews)
  • Develop presentations and talk tracks for customer speakers and advocates
  • Develop and manage an awards and speaking program positioning Forter’s customers as industry leaders
  • Work closely with Content Marketing and Product Marketing teams to integrate product messaging into customer-led narratives
