Position Overview

We are seeking an Account Executive to drive new business sales revenue through a SaaS license model. This role involves account planning, territory planning, prospect research, utilizing business development strategies, and conducting field-based sales activities within a defined set of prospects, territory, or vertical.


Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with C-suite personas (e.g., CFO, CIO, COO, CDO) across all product sales.
  • Oversee client relationship mapping to the account team, orchestrating account strategies, and leading a broad virtual team (Solutions Consultants, Solutions Specialists, Success resources, Partners, and Marketing).
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers by understanding their business and advising on how ServiceNow can support their IT roadmap.
  • Identify and engage the right specialist/support resources for deals at the appropriate time.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Experience leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This includes using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI's impact on a function or industry.
  • 10+ years of sales experience within a software or solutions sales organization.
  • Proven experience establishing trusted relationships with current and prospective clients and other teams.
  • Demonstrated success in producing new business, negotiating deals, and maintaining healthy C-Level relationships.
  • A track record of achieving sales targets.
  • The ability to understand the "bigger picture" and our plans around IT.
  • Experience promoting a customer success focus within a "win as a team" environment.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%.
  • Must live in a Wisconsin Metro area.
