Candidates must have at least 1 year of medical billing and/or pharmacy billing work experience, along with working knowledge of problem-solving and decision-making skills. A High School Diploma is required, and a Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) certification is preferred.
The Coordinator, Revenue Cycle will assist with processing, insurance verification and authorization, revenue cycle management, compliance, documentation, and issue resolution. Responsibilities include monitoring the revenue cycle for efficient revenue capture, identifying and implementing process improvements, analyzing workflows, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement new technology and train staff. The role also involves maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, auditing processes, analyzing financial performance, and reporting on financial performance.
