Ability to work specified hours, including day shift (6:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.) with rotating weekends/holidays

Responsibilities

Prepare food items for assigned area
Meet standards established by Leader for food preparation, quality, sanitation, and efficiency
Follow extended menu and standardized recipes
Memorize basic foods allowed on modified diets
Use Diet Manual as a reference
Keep work area orderly and sanitary
Stock refrigerator, storerooms, work areas with appropriate labeling and dating procedures
Perform food temperature record keeping
Break down boxes
Serve meals/beverages with attention to temperature maintenance
Mentor new employees and assist with their orientation
Lead by example, following Freeman Regional Health Services CARE standards
