Responsibilities

  • Review and negotiate agreements with all stakeholders, leading negotiations with vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers for favorable terms aligned with project objectives and budget
  • Collaborate with legal, project stakeholders, and external consultants to ensure contracts meet client and DMCA requirements
  • Oversee selection, qualification, and performance evaluation of vendors, subcontractors, and suppliers, fostering relationships and resolving disputes
  • Administer the DMCA and subcontracts throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring all parties meet contractual obligations
  • Monitor performance and compliance, including submittal requirements, non-conformance reports, and correspondence timelines per the DMCA
  • Manage change orders and modifications, assessing impacts on cost, schedule, and scope, and resolving conflicts
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with the DMCA and subcontracts, including input to QRA risk modeling
  • Ensure insurance requirements are met for joint venture partners, subcontractors, and third parties
  • Incorporate risk allocation and management processes into subcontracts to mitigate TGP and client risk
  • Meet all DMCA reporting requirements and prepare regular reports on contract status, KPIs, and issues for stakeholders, senior management, and client
  • Maintain project registers (e.g., change registers, correspondence logs, instruction logs) and provide weekly team progress and executive committee reports
  • Establish and maintain a centralized repository for documentation
