Responsibilities
Social Media Management & Strategy:
- Content Scheduling & Posting: Oversee the daily management of Tapas' social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook, YouTube), ensuring timely publishing of content and cohesive scheduling across channels.
- Engagement & Community Building: Actively monitor and respond to comments, DMs, and community interactions, fostering a positive, responsive, and engaging online presence.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Track and analyze social performance metrics, providing weekly reports on trends, wins, and opportunities for growth across all platforms.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with Kakao Entertainment (KKE) and Tapas Entertainment, Inc. (TEI) teams to align on content strategies, ensuring a unified approach to social media activities.
Content Creation & Brand Storytelling:
- Visual & Copywriting Creation: Design and produce original content including graphics, memes, carousels, and short-form videos (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) while crafting compelling copy to enhance engagement and storytelling.
- Trend-Informed Ideation: Lead the ideation and execution of content that taps into current internet culture, trends, and fandom conversations, ensuring it resonates with the audience and attracts new readers to Tapas stories.
- Artist & Author Features: Conduct and optimize interviews with artists and authors, both on-camera and via email, creating engaging content for social media to showcase Tapas' talent and titles.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, English, or a related field
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field, with a strong portfolio or track record of growing digital audiences and engagement
- Passion: Deep passion for webcomics, anime, manhwa, and the surrounding fandom culture, including an appreciation for immersive fantasy worlds and serialized storytelling. Candidate should also have a clear understanding of our core audience—primarily female readers with a strong interest in romance fantasy, and BL (Boys' Love) genres.
- Skills: Strong understanding of social media strategies and best practices.
