Requirements

1-2 years of procurement or contract experience

Experience in IT/Technology Related contract language and procurement skills is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

Review agreements and other contract documents to ensure that proposed arrangements meet Virtua Health business and operational requirements
Collaborate with Virtua Health’s Office of the General Counsel to ensure proposals are legally acceptable
Assist the manager in administrative aspects of the contract documentation
Obtain appropriate administrative documentation from the vendor, such as W9s, Certificates of Insurance and other documents, as required
Negotiate business and operational terms with vendor to ensure Virtua’s business, financial and operational objectives are met
Support negotiations between Virtua Health’s Office of General Counsel and vendor partners’ legal teams to ensure arrangements are legally acceptable
Support compilation of final contract and document packages, including but not limited to obtaining signatures for final execution and uploading into appropriate software
Assist with day-to-day duties, such as processing purchase orders, scanning orders, filing, returning emails and voicemails in a timely fashion using applicable systems/applications
Populate creation of contract file, scanning of appropriate documents and maintaining the file
Performs other related duties as assigned
