Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in a relevant field and/or substantial experience performing the role
  • Solid foundation of experience in contracts administration, preferably in the construction or infrastructure industry
  • Ability to build conducive relationships with subcontractors in sometimes challenging environments whilst having the confidence to negotiate terms for win/win outcomes
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to manage a workload with competing priorities

Responsibilities

  • Effective administration of subcontracts through all phases of the project, including scope preparation, subcontractor management, claims/variations processing, completion and close out
  • Maintain accurate records of contract correspondence, variations, and claims
  • Prepare and submit progress claims and invoices in accordance with contract terms
  • Assist in the resolution of contractual disputes and claims
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and ensure compliance with contract terms
  • Prepare and maintain a contract register and schedule of contract deliverables
  • Identify and manage risks as well as opportunities
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and company policies and procedures
