Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Engineering, and/or Supply Chain
  • Hands-on gemba experience with driving kaizen facilitation and leadership using DBS and lean tools (Visual Daily Management, Problem Solving Process, Value Stream Mapping, Dynamic Kanban, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, 5S, TPM, SMED, etc.)
  • Analytical Skills; working with large data sets (SAP & Excel Experience preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communications as well as group facilitation skills, including public speaking and moderating
  • Prefer 4+ years of business, or operations management or manufacturing experience with management responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a change facilitator by developing and collaborating with operations leadership in the transformation and support of a continuous improvement culture
  • Support the kaizen funnel and certified practitioner funnel to make strong connections between customer-facing metrics and process improvement efforts and facilitate and conduct Kaizens and bootcamps in DBS Fundamental & Lean tools
  • Facilitate Problem Solving efforts across the business to define root cause and implement process focused countermeasures
  • Implement of Lean Conversion and removal of “Muda” waste within operations
  • Promote and facilitate continuous improvement through the successful implementation of the Danaher Business System (DBS)
  • Support the Supply Chain, Operations, and Value Stream Managers in the implementation of DBS Fundamentals and Lean methodologies at gemba to drive improvements in Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost
